Men’s Soccer Season Ends With Loss to Randall

Kissimmee, FL - The Crown College men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Randall University in their second match of the NCCAA Division II National Championship Tournament. The Polars finished 0-2 in pool play.

The Polars were blanked in a very competitive match, limited opportunites presented themselves shots few and far between with a couple of shots by Tim Jaeger and Jose Lovera but ultimately Crown was unable to score.

A goal by Randall just before half ended up being the game winner. The Polars were outshot 17-7 in this match and 8-5 with shots on goal. Goalkeeper Leo Roque had a good outing with 7 saves.

The Polars finish their season with a record of 8-14-3 and a 5-6-3 UMAC record. The future indeed looks bright for this young Polars men's soccer team totaling 8 wins, tied for the second most wins in a season in program history.
