St. Bonifacius, Minn. – A quick start to both halves by the visitors spelled trouble for the Crown men's soccer team on Friday as visiting UW-Superior scored three goals in the first 15 minutes of each half to claim a 6-0 victory.

The game got off to an ominous start as the Yellowjackets scored just 27 seconds in and added two more goals in the ninth and 16^th minutes.  Crown settled in for the rest of the half at that point, limiting the damage and getting to halftime down 3-0.

Superior came out hot in the second half as well, grabbing goals in 54^th, 59^th, and 60^th minutes to jump ahead 6-0. 

Again, Crown was able to stabilize things and keep UW-superior off the scoreboard for the rest of the match, but weren't able to generate much in attack as the final score was 6-0.  Crown was outshot 23-5 overall. 

The Polars will look to bounce back on Saturday as they host Northland College at Old National Bank Stadium.  Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m
