ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown College Men's Soccer took on their rivals from the twin cities, the Northwestern Eagles, Saturday afternoon. Emotion ran strong throughout, as each team looked to take a definitive advantage in the match. The Eagles were able to come out on top, with a hard-fought 2-1 victory.
Junior Tim Stariha took goal for the Storm, posting a career-high 15 saves. Tim Maupin scored what was an equalizing goal in the twelfth minute with a spectacular long shot free-kick for the Storm. Cole Matthys was issued a yellow card in the match.
The Storm continue their season Tuesday with their final home game of the season, facing off against Martin Luther.
