ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown Men's Soccer faced the Northland Lumberjacks in their first contest of the 2020-21 campaign. Unfortunately, the Storm fell short as Northland bested Crown 7-1. Santiago Ciro scored the Storm's lone goal in the contest, the first of his Crown College career.
Starting in goal for the Storm was
Foster Browning, who accumulated ten saves in 73 minutes of work. Relieving Browning was
Tim Stariha, who had one save in the remainder.
Jimmy Anderson led Crown with two shots in the contest, with Anderson,
Jakob Grein, and Ciro all having one shot on target.
There were three yellow cards issued in the game, with Crown's Ciro and Northland's Izaak Clarke and John Ramirez all receiving one. Next up, the Storm will head to St. Scholastica to face the Saints on Tuesday next week.
