Becker, Minn. – the Crown men's golf team held steady in fifth place after the third and final round of the 2021 UMAC Championships, completing a successful fall campaign.
The Storm finished with a three-day score of 968 (+104) and were comfortably in fifth, 24 shots ahead of sixth place Minnesota Morris. The Bethany Lutheran Vikings won the event and the automatic qualifier to the NCAA tournament in the spring with a team score of 934 (+70).
Titus Wookie led the Storm with a 236 (+20) for the tournament, finishing in a tie for ninth place overall individually. His Saturday round of 76 (+4) was the low round for the Storm over the three days. Lane Thomas (86), Drake Dawson (84), and Matt Yerke (82) each contributed to the team score on day three and finished at +27, +28, and +29 respectively after a very consistent week for the Storm.
Brady Raph of the UMM Cougars won the individual title with a score of 222 (+6).
