St. Bonifacius, Minn. – The Crown women's soccer team lost in their season finale to UMAC regular season champion UW-Superior on Saturday by a score of 4-0. The Storm finished their injury-riddled season with four wins and a draw through 18 games.
The Storm got to half time down just a goal at 1-0, but the Yellowjackets kept up the pressure throughout the second half adding three more goals after the break. Crown had three shots on target for the game, with
Emma Domka recording two and
Dabilo Maphosa adding one.
Molly Schmitz made 16 saves.
The young Storm team has an extremely bright future, with just one upperclassman, senior
