LINCOLN, Neb. --- Crown Men's Soccer began their weekend road trip on Friday as they headed to Nebraska for a matchup with the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves. The Storm struck first when first-year
Grant Moody scored his first collegiate goal with the help of senior
Harvey Holcombe, Holcombe's second assist in as many matches. Unfortunately, the Prairie Wolves took the contest from there, winning 9-1 in the NWU Home Opener.
First-year
Erik Mills received the start in goal for the Storm, and stopped five goals. Sophomore
Tim Stariha relieved Mills with just under ten minutes left. The Storm were outshot 28-4 in the contest.
Crown continues their road trip on Saturday, facing the Buena Vista Beavers in Storm Lake, Iowa.
