Moody Scores Game Winner, Browning Has Shutout in Final Match of Season

NEW ULM, Minn. --- Crown Men's Soccer ended their season on a high note on Tuesday afternoon as they defeated the Martin Luther Knights 1-0. The Storm may have spoiled the Knights' playoff chances, as the Knights would be eliminated with a Northwestern tie (vs. Bethany Lutheran, 7 pm) and Northland win (vs. North Central, ongoing in overtime)

It was first-year Grant Moody who added a stellar cap to his first season with the Storm, as he had the game-winning goal on a pass from senior Romeo Mork. Moody has a team-leading four goals and ten points. In goal for the Storm was junior Foster Browning, who had his second shutout in three matches. Browning had eight saves in the match and the defense added three team saves to the total.

The Storm finish out the season with two conference wins and look to compete next year with several key players returning. Crown Athletics would like to thank the seniors for all they've accomplished during their Crown College tenures, and wish them well in all future endeavors.
