ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. --- Crown's women's soccer team took an early 1-0 lead against the UMAC powerhouse St. Scholastica, but unfortunately, a quick goal by the Saints and multiple penalty kick opportunities sparked the St. Scholastica team, as they went on a 9-0 run to end the game.

Hailey Carter shot two attempts on the Saints' goalie. Carter led Crown with four shots. Sophomore goalkeeper
Michaela Cowman had a fantastic game in net, compiling 20 saves and saving St. Scholastica's first PK attempt.
Crown falls to 2-1 and still has a positive +/- on the season of +7. The Storm women now head to Ashland, Wisconsin to face Northland for their second UMAC game of the season.
