Minneapolis, Minn. — Crown women's soccer team was in Minneapolis this past weekend taking on a conference rival, the North Central Rams. After the Rams took an early 1-0 lead, sophomore
Anna Kragt had a game-tying goal in the 48th minute. It was Kragt's third goal of the season and second in as many games. Unfortunately, with only six minutes remaining in regulation, the Rams struck again with a goal, beating the Storm 2-1.
Kragt led the offensive production with one score and four shots on goal. Junior
Katelyn Carter also had two shots in the game. Defensively, first-year goalkeeper
Michaela Cowman had 12 saves; Cowman's season total is now at 156 saves, second-most in the NCAA.
The Crown women continue to seek their first win on Saturday as they head to Northland College to face the Lumberjills for continued UMAC soccer.
