Morris, Minn. — Crown's men's soccer team played a game in Morris against the UMAC-rival Cougars on Tuesday afternoon. The Cougars scored in the seventh minute, and that's all they needed to defeat the Storm 1-0.
Crown had goalkeeper
Justin Lao in net, and he only allowed one goal in his 90-minutes of action, with three saves and a .750 save percentage in the game. Crown was even in shots on goal with the Cougars, both teams having five.
Mason Shrewsbury (with two),
Jason Kragt,
Kirby Shetler, and
Harvey Holcombe all had shots on goal in the game, but none of the four was able to score to give the team a game-tying goal.
Crown has a game Friday against Providence (Canada) and a UMAC opponent in UW-Superior on Saturday.
