St. Bonifacius, Minn. – Crown's women team is still looking for its first win after losing to Northland College 1-5 Saturday afternoon.
Northland College's sophomore
Kaiya Voldberg (Ashland, Wisc./Ashland) had an incredible performance in route to a victory, two goals and two assists. Voldberg's first goal came off of a penalty kick. Northland also had a two-goal performance from senior
Madeleine Wieland (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Buffalo Grove).
Crown did have a beautiful score off of a fast break by the freshman
Anna Kragt (Milaca/Black Forest Academy), assisted by the senior
Emily Kirby (Andover/Legacy Christian).
Crown's women go on the road Tuesday to face Northwestern (MN), at 5pm.
