Northfield, Minn. - The Crown College track and field teams continued their season this past Saturday with another meet, this time in Northfield, Minnesota at the Carleton Relays.  Amongst the teams in attendance, there were several MIAC competitors in addition to Crown College, Martin Luther, Minnesota Morris, some unattached athletes from the University of Minnesota, and Bethany Lutheran.

Crown's best finish on the day came from Robert Smartnick who took ninth in the javelin with a throw of 146 feet and 10 inches.  Josh Coleman also ran well but did not finish in the top 10 in this competitive meet.

Crown has one more meet at the Drake Alternative before the UMAC Outdoor Championships in Morris, Minnesota on May 6th-7th.
