Morris, Minn. - The Crown College Storm kicked off their 2015 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference season this Saturday with a big matchup against the Minnesota Morris Cougars. Last year, Crown swept the Cougars including a huge win in the UMAC playoffs. Morris got some revenge this year handing Crown a 83-56 defeat.

Five players reached double figures to lead the Cougars who had extremely similar statistics to Crown but shot an additional 12 free throws than the Storm going 21-27 from the line. Crown only managed to shoot 33% from the field and only 4-22 from three point land.

James Brown had 16 points and seven rebounds while Tom Messner had an efficient 16 points on 6-9 shooting.

The next game for Crown is Friday at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota.
